Hello, this is Josie Hall from Horse Branch Elementary with an important announcement.
As we move into the second semester, we want to make families aware that there is a possibility of using NTI Days if needed due to winter weather. At this time, our district is not planning to use NTI Days, but we want to be prepared in case missed school days occur.
NTI work will be coming home with students today, December 18th, in preparation for the possible use of NTI Days in the second semester. Sending these packets home at this time is completely precautionary, and we ask that families place them in a safe location so they do not get lost.
In the event of winter weather, communication will come from the district indicating whether we will have an NTI Day or a traditional snow day. Families will receive a phone call, and the information will also be posted on the district and school Facebook pages.
Please do not have students complete any of the NTI work unless the district officially calls an NTI Day.
Thank you for your continued support, and have a great day.

OK, Facebook friends it is that time of year again to vote for your favorite classroom door. If you like a door and want to cast your vote- like or love that picture. 😌
We will take likes or loves until next Thursday, December 18 at 3pm.
The winner will get a jeans pass. If you know teachers, we love our jean days. 😊🤣
Students will also get to vote. Teachers will take their students around at some point next week, and the students winner will also receive a Jean pass.
So we will have two winners for the classroom door contest… We will have the student winner, and we will have the Facebook page winner.
