We kindly ask that you come this afternoon to pick those up and please bring help with you as some orders are large. Good afternoon Horse Branch families. I have a couple announcements for you. First we received our 100 year shirt orders today. Therefore your child should have come home with their new shirt. Also, if you placed a large order please stop by the school tomorrow during school hours to pick that up. If for some reason you can not pick up during school hours we will then send home with the students tomorrow afternoon. The next thing is that we are now selling Texas Roadhouse peanuts for $5. With every purchase you will receive a free appetizer card that does not expire until 2028. If you would like to purchase some peanuts, all you have to do is send in a note with how many you wish to order and those will be sent home the same day as you send in the money.

Good evening HB families. I wanted to remind you that tomorrow is our annual Zoodles program. Your child should have come home this week with a green permission form. It is mandatory to return the form since there will be live animals in attendance and the behavior of animals is unpredictable. If your child was wanting to get a picture with one of the animals he/she must have their $10 by tomorrow morning or the picture will not be taken.
Again the green permission form will need to be returned in order to attend.
Another reminder is that tomorrow is the last day of spirit week and the book fair. We look forward to seeing our students dress as their favorite book characters.

The clinic will be offering school physicals, sports physicals, immunizations, and sick visits. Walk-ins are welcome, so no appointment is necessary.

Hello, Horse Branch Elementary families! This is a reminder that our Back to School Bash is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
We are excited to welcome everyone back for a fun evening! Students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and get ready for an amazing school year. Families are also invited to enjoy pizza in the cafeteria while you’re here.
We’re also happy to offer free haircuts for students during the event, so be sure to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Free breakfast and lunch meals are available for pickup for all children ages 18 and under. Meals may be picked up daily at Horse Branch Elementary School between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Please stop by the school between 8:30 and 3:00 to collect these items. Please remember that medications must be picked up by a parent or guardian and cannot be sent home with students.
Also, the Summer Food Program will begin on June 1st. We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity throughout the summer.

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor activities, including comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Some activities will involve water, so students may want to bring an extra change of clothes and shoes.
