Welcome to Horse Branch Elementary School. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve as principal at such a wonderful school. We have an amazing staff, and if you know me you know I talk regularly about our terrific students! Our staff members understand the importance of working together with parents, showing students that we care about them as individuals, working diligently to build positive relationships, and striving every day to set positive examples for our students to follow.
Our mission at Horse Branch Elementary is to nurture life-long learners and leaders. Our vision is to be a school that provides a quality education through positive relationships preparing students to become productive, contributing members of society.
The current Horse Branch School building has been standing for over 70 years, and the original school that burned in 1950 would now be nearly 95 years old if it were still standing. Many of our current students are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation students here! We continue to honor the rich traditions of Horse Branch while also embracing the future and the many changes that come along with it. We have tremendous support from the community, and we are proud to call Horse Branch our home.
